Sudden upheaval, revelation, false structures collapsing, liberating shock.

Reversed meaning

Disaster averted or delayed, resisting a break that is still coming.

Image and symbolism

Lightning knocks the crown off the tower — built on the wrong ground.

Place in the journey

The Tower breaks false structures: sudden upheaval and liberating truth. Major Arcana: a core life theme, carries more weight.
