Major Arcana I

Keywords

• manifestation

• initiative

Upright meaning

Manifestation, willpower, resourcefulness, inspired action, initiative.

Reversed meaning

Manipulation, scattered potential, poor planning, untapped talent.

A reversed card isn't simply a bad sign: usually its energy is blocked, turned inward, delayed or excessive.

Image and symbolism

All four suits already laid on the table: nothing is missing but direction.

Place in the journey

The Magician is the first to use his tools consciously: will becomes action. Major Arcana: a core life theme, carries more weight.
